In the 20th century, the cities walls were marked by the widespread of urban art; public space became a privileged ground of expression, a place of creation, exhibition and appropriation for an art that defined itself on the bangs of official institutions. With the rise of the Internet and then social networks, street art has undergone a revolution, leading to a new relationship between artists and the city. The exhibition unfolds across the monumental spaces of the Grand Palais Immersif, echoing and serving as a screen for these urban artistic creations, presented at 360°. From New York subways to paintings created or filmed using drones, from the largescale murals that appeared from the 2000s onwards to the most recent developments in graffiti vandalism, spectacular its Roberto Cavalli licence, Coty launched a brand-new olfactory experience, faceted by virtual reality. Roberto Cavalli has always been synonymous with a certain way of life, a baroque and luxurious vision of the Italian dolce vita. Wearing a VR headset, users discover six different rooms of a palazzo in Tuscany, for which each olfactory stone is the key. Within a surreal, organic and chimeric atmosphere, each room is a blend of architecture, fabrics, lights and sounds revealing the fragrance components. The objective is to addle people so they can define the fragrance they fancy the most not only based on its smell but through the diversity of their senses. L'Oréal Group's technological showcase at Vivatech 2023. The scenography simulates a contemporary museum space in trompe l'oeil in which seven 3D sequences follow one another. Each sequence metaphorically illustrates key information from the group's many activities. Art, Motion Design For a large amount of its licence, Coty launched a brand-new olfactory retail experience based on olfactory families and ingrédients. Within a fancy, mysterious and elegant atmosphere, each alcove enclose between four to six fragrances grouped by olfactory family. The perfume bottles are enhanced by 3D printed sculpture, colored lights, music and ingredient mood film revealing the fragrances alchemy. The objective is to addle people so they can define the fragrance they fancy the most based on its smell and through the discovery of the olfactory families. This particular model is held within the esteemed collections of the Opéra Garnier Museum. To develop this educational resource, a dedicated photoshoot of the original artwork was required.
